We went here for lunch and got seated right away, the staff gave us peanuts as soon as we sat down and got our orders.I like the way they cooked the walnut shrimp,it was very tasty,at the end of the meal they served us tea.

I would say this is one of the promising Szechuan style restaurants in Concord. Been there three times. Very close to an authentic Szechuan style and very clean and very good service. Love the pork intestines and picked fish dish. Very generous portion. I will give it a five start for this area. I know still can use some room to compare to some of the restaurants in the City or Silicon Valley but what we can get in this area is very good.

My goodness all that hype is true! Just got finished eating maybe 1/8 of the most humongous "bowl,"(more like a sarcophagus), of soup. The value for the cost of $20 was supreme. The woman who answered the phone had such a lovely demeanor and was a super friendly 'breath of fresh air,' in a difficult industry! I live pretty close and the food was piping hot and fresh when I brought my order home. Inside, the restaurant was pop-pop-poppin' Spice level ordered was "normal," and though I'm not a sadist and I do like spicy food, it was quite spicy, yet also very balanced. Really cool concept to be able to order three meats and three veggies in a hot pot dry style dish or a soup (the 'D section of the menu). I got fatty beef, sliced beef, pork belly, Lotus root, shiitake mushroom, and Chinese cabbage. Potstickers were good, and the filling was very fresh. Chicken fried rice was good and not too greasy with a bounty of chicken. I really can't say enough good things as there are many other restaurants, offering, bland, confused, or just plain oily, Szechuan style dishes. If you want to be adventurous, you could get bullfrog or cuddle fish - pig ear or pork intestines. Or, if you want to be a cliché 1960s American consumer, you can do that too from 11 to 3 PM as they offer an American Chinese menu during those hours. Tasty Szechuan stands alone: a veritable "lion," in a region featuring many "tiny-kitten," Chinese restaurants! They definitely deserve your business, are worth all of the hype, and i'll probably order from them again in a few years when I finish this gargantuan soup bowl.
